Strange Problem with Windows Creating new folders?

I recently noticed that when I go to my C: Drive, there is an icon in there that is the same icon that is displayed for drives, however it just say New Folder, and when I click it, it opens a folder that is an exact copy of my C: Drive, and it has another disk drive icon that says new folder, I click it and it has another exact copy..and it goes on forever. I dont know if I did a good of explaining it..any help would be appreciated thanks alot..
 
sounds like a virus. i tried this with a folder with 32 empty folders - it says it took up no space - but it's got to take up space somewhere.
