Strange problem with HD formatting...

I try to format my harddrive and there is a small (5-10mb) section that won't format with the rest. It is also too small for Windows XP to format it and too small to be worthwhile. Unfortunately it doesn't show up in Disk Management, but it is taking up a drive letter. It is more of a nuisance and I doubt there is any noticeable performance loss. So... i haven't actually asked a question but you should be able to guess what I want to know.

I assume using delpart requires you format your HD again right?
