Strange problem with auto power up and Linux

Can't figure this out...

When my computer is started using the auto power up function, I experience this strange thing.

When I boot into Linux after auto power up it hangs at "mounting proc filesystem", I can press ctrl+c but then the my root partition is mounted in read-only mode. If I reboot and try once more it does the same. Also when hard resetting. But if I shut down the computer completly and turn it back on using the button, then it is all normal.
Windows doesn't have any problems.

The linux distro is RedHat 6.1
