Strange problem when trying to install windows xp.... please help

Well, i just tried to install windows xp on 2 seperate systems, and i'm having the same problem.

When i try to do a fresh install (nothing is on the hd yet), the set up process works... and seems to work normal. But after the initial installation stage, the computer restarts. At this point, it's supposed to continue installing after the reboot, but, the whole process starts over again. But when i take out the cd, i get a error message that says no OS found. Any suggestions? This is really frustrating. Thanks.

My guess is, your bios is still loading your cdrom first. You need to have your HD drive load first now to finish the process.
