I turn my computer off during the night when i go to sleep. About 2 weeks ago when i wakeup and turn it on, the LED's on my keyboard flicker on for about 1 second and then no power. I have to manually flip the power switch on the back of the PSU, wait about 5 seconds, then flip it back and then it powers up just fine. This happens everytime in the morning. Ive tried plugging into a surge protector, and the normal wall outlet and same thing. What could be happening? Is it a PSU problem? Mobo?

Prolly the PSU. If it is an Antec Smart or TruePower that is over three years old....It's time. :)

CompUSA has a sale on the good Antec Earthwatts ATM, if you wish to buy one or stay with Antec.

Several folks on this board have used units that have to be powered on at the switch for months, before they stopped working. Using a failing PSU puts the HDDs at risk from 5V spikes at BOOT. Wanna kill a HDD? Hope you are backed up.

I bet the capacitors are dried out and need to get warm before they will do their job. That is why it takes a power on or two. Thankfully, caps normally fail in an open condition not a shorted one.
