I have a family member who has the Droid Razr Maxx HD and he seems to be having a strange issue with the phone. He has his email account setup on it and setup on the IMAP server while his other computers are POP3 servers. We were trying to figure out how to change his phone to POP3 servers because his emails keep disappearing from the phone. I never did see an option to change it without adding a new email account.
In the process of trying to figure that out, I ran into a strange problem. Well, strange to me, I am new to this smartphone stuff. Under email account settings, if I go to add a new account, then go to other, and go back out of that and back to the account settings page, flip the phone sideways and then flip it back, the server will change from IMAP to POP3. But there is no way of saving those changes. It will not let you click on done. And if you go back a page and back to the account settings, it will be back to IMAP until you go through the above steps again. Is there something wrong with this phone? This is his second phone, the first one, the same phone, was not working right so they gave him another one. Is this one screwed up as well?
I hope I explained this clearly enough.
