strange pixels appear on the screen and then the pc shuts down

Hi all, my problem is that after i start my pc i get a few strange pixels on all the screen (no the right color) and the the pc usualy shuts down or stucks, i suspect its a problem with the GC but im not sure it could be the MB... anyone heard about this problem? ill appriciate the help.

The TT420W units are none too strong where it counts (12-volt amperage). How about get an Enermax Whisper2 460W unit or some other high-quality unit in the 450W-500W area.

One other tip: unplug the case's front-USB cable from the motherboard if it's plugged in. MSI has some funky pinout issues on some models.

I think it is important to ask if this is a "new" install on any of your hardware?

For instance...

Is this a new install on your graphics card? Meaning... Did you just upgrade from another card?

Do you get any beeps from the mobo? If not, your going to have to start swapping hardware to determine the cause. If you get 1 beep (normal) then I would also assume its the vid card.

And also check out the "D-bracket" if you have one. The LEDs could give a clue what's going on.

thanks for the help guys ill try to replace the VC with another 1...(i hope its not the problem because it is very precious to me 🙂 )
