When someone tries to do alot of heavy packets on my network, such as connecting to several proxies at once for an IRC channel, the internet reconnects. I'm useing a linksys wireless router...any suggestions?

There may be an underlying problem in your network causing errors. It may only show itself when you have a lot of traffic since the extra load is compounding the problem.

I'd check for issues like bad cables, incorrect speed/duplex settings from poor autonegotiation, interference on your WiFi channel, etc.

Haha, it was a silly fix. Finds out it was a bug and was fixed in the newest version of the firmware...stupid me 😛
Thanks for your help 🙂
