strange ocing issues

just for fun i decided to oc my cpu to 200 x 13 and give it lots of juice. :Q
of course it crashed and i had to reset the cmos "i hate doing that" when i get into xp my sound card ide bus and lan all come up in a new hardware found wizard. even though all of the above mentioned were still working fine 😕
im not too worried about it but that was strange behavior.
any thoughts regarding this?
