I have a nvidea tnt so these scores may seem low, but here is what happened. I ran 3d mark 99 on my system when it was clocked at 880(8x110, fsb/pci up 5, and fsb up another 5) and when it was clocked at 800(8x100). It scored higher at 880, but not by much, 4444 v 4334, and when i looked at the breakdown there was a couple of anomalies. The 8, 16, and 32mb texture rendering speed at 800 was higher, and by quite a bit. The 8mb speed was 95fps(800) v 62fps(880). Does anyone have an expaination? i have a tbird 800 and abit kt7 fyi
thanx

That could be any number of things ranging from overclocking glitches to driver glitches. What TNT chipset do you have?

I wouldn't worry about it personally. Just pick the speed that is the fastest and most stable and use that.
