i recently installed an abit nf7-s v2 and a 2600+ m, with a thermalright sp-97 hs and a vantec tornado 92mm fan to use on top of the sp-97. however, once i started it up, the fan unit (i know it's the fan unit because i have a fan controller and can slow it down or speed it up) makes a weird noise, which kind of sounds like a geiger counter going off (clicking type noise). the first thing i did was to check to make sure there was nothing actually getting in the fan, and, unfortunately there wasn't. i took the fan off, and ran it in another computer i have, and it sounded absolutely fine no matter which way i oriented it. more interestingly, i reinstalled the fan, but started the computer on its side, and there was no noise to be heard (except for the vacuum-like noise of the fan itself). but then when i put it back upright, the noise is back. if i tilt the computer just a bit, the noise goes away for a while, but gradually comes back. tilt it some more, same thing. i don't think it's a faulty fan, because like i said, i ran it in my other computer. but then again, it almost has to be the fan, because it increases with the fan controller. anybody have any ideas at all?

thanks in advance for your time.
