Strange network error message when I launch Chrome

Hi Guys,

I used to have a Seagate GoFlex NAS a while ago. It's been disconnected for months now, but everytime I launch Chrome I get this error message.

I have deleted all GoFlex software and files and also there is no plugin or extension related to Goflex in my Chrome [as far as I know].

The error takes a while to show up, and I can't browse till then.

That error message is from your OS, not from Chrome itself.

If it only happens when you launch Chrome, it would seem that Chrome is trying to access a file stored on the NAS (bookmarks, profile data, or maybe a downloads folder) and it's taking a nap until the OS comes back and says, "No file, deal with it."
