I have 2 17" viewsonic LCD's hooked up to a PNY FX5500 AGP video card (2 analog outs)
Since more is better I added an ATI PCI card so I can hook up displays 3 and 4. Immediately had random reboots so I assumed driver conflict.
Took out the ATI card and now when I drag a window to the second display, it freezes for 5 or 6 seconds...then both displays go black for 1 or 2 seconds then they both work again (usually leaving artifacts or partial windows on the second display)
It's always the second display (id'ed as #2) I swapped the monitor inputs and it still does it on display 2.
I downloaded the nvidia drivers..uninstalled, rebooted reinstalled, rebooted and it's still happening.
As long as I don't drag any windows to display 2 everything works perfecly??
Any thoughts as to whether it's a hardware issue or a driver issue?
