Strange movies you got teary eyed during?

I'm not talking about movies like Shawshank Redemption that were written to make frat boys cry or Titanic, written to make wusses cry. I'm talking movies you went in, never expecting to get emotional during but still resulting in you shedding a tear, or at least getting very emotional. Don't worry, i won't call you a wuss - unless "Beaches" is on your list.

My list:
- March of Penguins
- V for Vendetta
- Babe (yeah, the movie about the pig.. shut up)

Big Fish made me sad when the his Dad died but that was a little before my Grandpa died and he reminded me of my Grandpa a lot.

Braveheart.

Thought it was gonna be a sweet action movie (which it was, and then some)....

But seeing a man's groins get butchered always makes me wheep "MERCY!"

I saw it at the bowling alley where I do my part-time job last night (well, with no sound and closed captioning on) and even with all that, I got a little "emotional" during it.

Forrest Gump?

that movie was intended to be a tearjerker.

And it was a great film.

Perhaps, but from the trailers, it just looked like a goofy film about a goofy guy. I did not expect it to be so emotional.

The second one and Jenny's grave scene are the two that make me go to the kitchen to get a drink. :shiftyeyes;

In short, any movie where a "real" man cries for good reason (not some emo kid whining about his girl or something) really affects me.

Missing in America when the little girl gets blown up and her baby lamb comes out of the smoke instead of her.

March of the Penguins.

When the mother saw her dead offspring, man, the tears just came.
