Strange monitor behaviour while system is off

I just installed my epox 8rda+ 1.1 and when the system is off, my monitor will switch between off and on thus causing it to degauss every 3 seconds.
It's a Sony 200es. With other mobos, it will just go to standby and LED will be orange.
Using an ATI Radeon 9500 now.
Anyone have any idea? Kind of a hassle to switch on and off my monitor everynight nowadays.

How do you have the MB's power management setup?

I tried all options but there's no difference. I think when it's off, it doesn't follow the power management options. Stuck at DPMS I think which is causing this havoc.

constant degaussing is likely to cause severe damage to the monitor.
