Hey guys, my MoBo is having as very strange behaviour. Check my rig first:
Core i7 920 | Gigabyte X58-UD5 | OCZ Platinum 3x2GB DDR3 1600Mhz | GeForce BFG GTX280 | Patriot Warp V2 SSD 32GB for OS | WD VelociRaptor 300GB GLFS | Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro | Corsair HX1000 | CM-690 W/ Window + 7 Fans CM 90CFM
The problem is that by defaul my RAM is set to 1066MHz (mem divider at 8), so I go to the BIOS and set it to 12, so it goes to 1600MHz (default BCLK 133). So everything is on it´s factory-settings, and it works normally. The problem comes after shutting down the PC, if I turn it off and don´t turn the PSU off too my boot fails the next time I turn it on and the mems go to 1066MHz again! But if I turn off the PSU power and just turn it on right before turning the computer on, everything works normally. Isn´t this strange?
