Alright, first off, I am not one of those alien nuts you hear on Coast to Coast AM Radio. I do, however, live out in the middle of nowhere in the outskirts of Aztec, New Mexico. I live on a very high hill (semi-mountain) and I can see miles in all directions. Beautiful scenery by the way.
Anyways, I have lived out here all 20 years of my life, and in those 20 years, I have seen quite a few things in the sky that could not be explained. Some of those occasions, the local news claimed that they were the military testing aircrafts at night, a sort of "Silent-bomber prototype" as they called it when referring to seven lights following each other silently across the night sky.
Some of the more stranger things I have seen would include the above-mentioned lights, two sets of eight tiny lights all moving in a "Figure-8" pattern for about thirty minutes before disappearing, a very large circle of ten lights moving very fast across the sky, a "spotlight" that seemed to come from nowhere (no noise was heard) which canvased the canyon walls surrounding my house, and various lights in the sky that could not be tied to airplanes as airplanes do not leave green/blue/red/yellow streaks in the night sky.
Well tonight I saw something rather peculiar. I went outside to check on my dogs because they were barking. They usually bark at deer, coyotes, or just various smells or noises they hear in the distance. When I went outside, I saw two vertical streaks in the sky quite a distance apart of each other. As I moved from under the trees to get a better look at them, I noticed that there were two smaller streaks to the "south-east" (bottom right) of the two long ones. I also noticed that the sky was abnormally hazy with an unusual red hue to the clouds. Now, since I live out in the middle of nowhere, there is never any light behind the clouds unless there is a fire or lightning, which neither were present. After I called my dad outside to look at them, we both could tell that the streaks of light were getting darker and lighter at continuous intervals as if the red hue was getting brighter and darker. I even called the non-emergency center to see if any fires had been reported in Hart or Snake Canyon, which none had.
After about ten minutes, my dad turned my attention to three more streaks behind us (towards the Colorado state line, just above Mount. Nebo) which were considerably more faint than the other ones, but you could see them clear enough. Right before we went back inside, the first streaks that I had seen had faded, but were still noticeable.
Feel free to evaluate this as you wish or to add your own "sightings." This isn't the Topic to discuss whether or not aliens exist so please keep those thoughts and opinions to a separate Topic. Just discuss any strange things you have seen that could not be explained within any rational manner.
