I have an Olevia 337h LCD TV which has been great for since I bought it. It developed a weird problem yesterday though that I can't figure out. Basically, when the image on the screen changes, it doesn't seem to clear completely and some of the previous image is left behind. For example, I had ESPN HD on last night during a commercial where it has the ESPN HD banners on both sides of the screen around the 4:3 picture, then I changed the channel to another 4:3 channel and you can still faintly see the ESPN HD banner where the black bars now are on the sides of the screen.
I've noticed a few other similar issues where "ghosting" seems to happen when an image is against a dark background and moves, a trail stays behind until something else takes its place (or the scene completely changes).
I recently upgraded the firmware on the TV, but I'm not sure if that's the cause or not (and of course they don't have the old firmware available to download). Can anyone think of a reason for this? I have everything hooked up over the HDMI connection.
I took a couple of poor quality photos of the problem:
16:9 ESPN feed: Photo
4:3 channel guide: Photo (notice the ESPN HD banner still faintly visible on the black bar)
