Strange LCD problem..

Since yesterday, when I turn on my monitor (Acer AL1914) almost all of the pixels that are supposed to be black on my monitor are now a light teal color, even on the startup screen. Same thing for colors like grey and white, but what's weird is that it goes away and starts working normally about 20-25 minutes after I turn on the LCD. I've switched from DVI to analog cables and still get the same problem, and even when the monitor isn't connected to the computer it still does the same thing on the startup screen.

The LCD isn't very old at all, 4-5 months old tops. Anyone ever have this problem or know what's causing it? any help would be appreciated 🙂

have you tried kicking it? its my failsafe method. might work for you. who knows?

but not sure what would be causing that.

After about 15-20 minutes or so, lightly tapping it seems to help a little, but it usually comes back in a few seconds. After it's been on a while it stops and goes back to normal, I guess I'll be keeping it on 24/7 until I figure out what's wrong with it 😛

check the connection on the video card... other than that, make sure the power cable is plugged in all the way on both sides.
