I've got a couple issues with my mobo, It's a k8n Neo2 Plat, with the 1.b bios. Once in a while when I try to get into cmos, I hit delete and it goes through recognizing the drives and then all text disappears, and a flashing cursor appears at the upper left corner, never going into setup or anywhere else.
The other problem is occasionally it will boot up, scroll the first 3 or so lines from POST but never get to reading the memory or hard drives. Both of these issues have been fixed by taking the CMOS battery in and out.
I was wondering if anyone thinks this is a battery issue or a mobo issue. I did recently upgrade to 2gb, but it's identical to the ram that is in there now.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
