Strange humming sound from A7V when running MB w/o CPU..

Hello !

I currently have no working CPU but decided to test my case fans without a cpu
mounted in the MB. When I start the system a strange humming/ticking noise comes up from the
MB. Anybody else experienced this ? This noise disappears when I mount a CPU... Strange...
