Strange HD Problems??

My HD has been acting strange lately. It is a WD 200 GB SATA drive, and is my secondary drive. When I navigate through folders on the drive, it acts fine. When I delete any files or right click (to rename, look at properties, etc.) there is about a 5 second delay and the MS hourglass shows up like it is thinking. I don't have this problem on my primary HD which is a WD 80 GB SATA drive. The drive is only a couple of weeks old, and I only noticed the problem in the last couple of days.
