Strange graphic Corruption

For the past few weeks, I've been experiencing random (and not much frequent) display corruptions. Sometimes they apperar in explorer, like:

Or in the icons in netscape, etc, etc.

The corruptions only goes away if I close the program and open it again. Minimizing and maximizing doesn't work. I tries changind drivers, no luck there.

The vidcard is a Visiontek Geforce GTS.

Any ideas people?

i had a problem similar to this on a viper v770 ultra
did you just recently get this card, and has this always been doing this? or did it just start recently?
most likely, theres a problem with your vid card. call the company and see if you can get a replacement.

Sounds/Looks like a video driver issue.

Well, I can't replace the card. I live in Brazil, and there's no warranty here. I tried 3 different sets of drivers, no success. Damn! Well, at least it doesn't happen often.

remove the video card from the slot & make sure you reseat it firmly.

if the problem persists, it's time for a new video card.
