My computer is acting a little wierd, I built it about 6 months ago and used all new parts.
First off, I'm a gamer and I have noticed a drop in my mouse sensitivity from time to time (for no reason at all) and I have to compensate in game by raising the sensitivity. But when it miraculously comes back, I have to turn it down again!??

Secondly, in BFBC2 I get weird 'flickering' of the ground graphics, like from dark to light? Just every so often not all the time.

I have a pretty decent rig, (I think so anyway) but I'm not sure what is going on here. Could this be a PSU issue? Or a GFX card dying? :hmm:

I have successfully ran memtest, and ATI tool and never had errors or artifacts. But something is going on....:hmm:

My computer is as follows:

MOBO:- Gigabyte GA-P55AUD3
CPU:- Intel Core i7 860
COOLING: Corsair H-50
MEMORY: 4 GIG G-Skill DDR-1600
STORAGE: 1TB Seagate 7200 RPM SATA II
VIDEO: XFX Radeon 5850 (factory OC'd)
PSU: Antec 650 watt
CASE: Antec 900
MOUSE: Logitech MX518

any takers?

I had similar problems on my Logitech G5 laser mouse. Uninstalling Setpoint did the trick for me.

The flickering problem could also be an indication you're running the game at a higher resolution than what your video card is capable of. Which monitor are you using and what res. are you running at? Have you tried lowering the settings? Do you have AA turned on or off?

Did you check to see see if there is an update (patch) for the game?

If you've done all the above and the problem isn't fixed, I would check to see if there is a new driver available for your video card. Atleast try the omega driver version.
