Strange forum listings -- no text, just lines

I'm using Chrome 49.0.2623.112 m, and when the zoom is set to 150%. The text for listings of Anandtech forum posts look like nothing but horizontal lines: http://i.imgur.com/u2foHNU.jpg

The text comes back at higher or lower zoom.

Happens to me a lot. Also using chrome. The only way I can get rid of it is to close chrome completely and then restart. I think it's been posted here before. I'll look.

It's a known Chrome rendering bug. I have no idea why it's the AT Forums that triggers it, but obviously we aren't sending any commands to tell Chrome to draw lines. In fact vB 3.x is a pretty straightforward and plain HTML 4 system.
