I need some help identifing a folder that has strangely appeared on my C drive. The extension is C:\fsaua.data, I googled it and there wasn't a real answer to what it is, is has header and subscriptions folders inside. I'm running windows vista basic and I just reinstalled it a few days ago, but this folder wasn't there initially.

Actually I took a look at the time the folder was added and it looks like it might be a java folder, I never got it before on xp when i installed java though.

That folder will contain data saved by the f-secure online scan. I'm not sure if the installed program also creates that folder. In any case it's not a problem. Just delete it if it's empty or the contents don't interest you.

A simple way to test whether a file or folder is vital to the OS is the rename it to something else. Just add .OLD & restart & wait 2 days before deleting it.
