So I was over at this thread when I clicked a link in there. My computer opened the link in a separate window like FF does, but I got a BSOD right when the new window popped up. I didn't get a chance to see what the error was, so there's no information concerning that.
After the reboot, when I opened up FF there were two additional toolbars that were not there before, and my window was resized. The toolbars were the bookmarks and the web developer ones. I unchecked the options so they were gone, and resized my window back to it's normal size.
So I think everything is alright, until I click a link (which opens up a new window) and the FF window is the same size as before with the two extra toolbars. Setting up that window correctly, closing it, and reclicking a link makes it pop up the same weird way.
What could have caused this issue, and how do you suggest I remedy it? I haven't tried reinstalling FF because I'm wondering if this BSOD caused more damaging underlying problems.
Edit: More info, my Google toolbar no longer works either. BTW I am running FF ver 1.5.0.7.
Any help is appreciated,
Thanks.
