Strange eVGA 680i Audio Problem

If I run the Realtek HD Sound Effect Manager and go into the Audio I/O tab, I see my 6 Channel speaker set up. Clicking on each speaker triggers the audio to come out of that speaker, as it should.

When I go over to the 3D Audio Demo tab, however, the rear 2 speakers stop functioning. I've checked and it appears the rear 2 speakers don't work in any application. They only way I get audio out of them is in the Audio I/O Config panel.

I've flashed my BIOS and updated my Realtek drivers to no avail. Anyone else have this issue or know why it's happening?
