Strange date in control panel / add remove programs listing

I noticed the other day that the date entry for last date accessed on one of the program entries on the users control panel in the add/remove software section for Peachtree accounting software installation was 10-03-2072, yes 2072.

My question is how did this date entry come to be the year 2072 ?

Is there some type of bug in the M/S XP O/S that would cause this type of date listing & if so, is M/S aware of this problem ?

It that the only thing your seeing that date on most like the installation software dated it.

Where did it get the date of 2072 for the year ?

Maybe your computer timetravelled to the future and someone from 2072 used the peachtree accounting software installer. Likely because its still better than windows 2072's bundled accounting software.

Well I was assuming the software package that does the installation had bad date info. Was the software on a CD? Chack the date of the install files there.
