we have 4 systems in office all same config like below

i7 950, gigabyte ud3,gskill 1600 6gb, 1tb wd sata3, ati5670, hyper 212+, corsair 750tx.

the problem was 4 of these systems had same problem, after installing win 7 64 you couldnt get to os it was hanging...we tried changing all the part one by one but the problem was only solved once we changed the power supply. this is very strang corsair buid highend and trusted psu, i was surprised that the low end cm 750w worked with above config which is not considered a good psu.

I had a Corsair fail on me this month, but it was a traditional no power-up situation. Hope someone here can help.

If anything, I'm sure you can contact Yellowboard or Redboard via PM to help you out. They're Corsair reps.

Uh something seems very weird about this story, you talk about installing an operating system on 4 different computers and none of them work with their psu? I could understand 1 of them, but not 4. I doubt it's a psu issue unless it's an incompatibility with that specific mobo.

I also think its a mobo, but how....psu has to deliver the power only how it can cause compatibility issue with mobo?

I too surprized with this problem and showed It to highly experienced HW engeenier, he tried everything and at the end he also agreed that the 4 of them are either faulty or having issues with my perticular config.

I'm assuming this is the motherboard you have?

'cause I can't help but notice that several of the reviews are complaining about memory issues with the board and apparently its really picky about which memory it uses. So I wonder if that is your issue and not the PSU and you just got lucky when you swapped them out.

I assume your "highly experienced HW engeenier" did try to boost the NB voltage by .01 or .02? or boost the memory voltage up the what G.skill wants or a bit over? or even loosen the timings? Did he turn off speedstep and c1e?

In any case I don't think this is a PSU issue but just a fat lemon of a motherboard that gigabyte released on the masses.
