Strange: Computer Reboots on Shutdown

I put together my own box. I'm running an Athlon 64 3200+ on an Abit KV8 Pro. Every time I shut down, the machine reboots. Any thoughts?

try a different psu, if that don't fix it, odds are your mobo is sending the wrong signal to the psu, and is causing it to power cycle instead of power off.

Is this a new system? I mean did you just put it together? You checked the power button wire to the MOBO? Check that and if that's correct, it may be something with the PSU. Try a different PSU and see what you get. Good luck.
