So I've been through a lot of ___ recently w/ my new SB build. I've returned 3 5770s and just got a 560 ti.

Essentially my computer runs normally for 45 minutes or so and then BSOD's randomly. It also can randomly run fine for 4 hours straight like today. After I had sent back my 5770s I put my old 8800gts in and enjoyed stutter free and BSOD free gaming for about a week. When I did get my 560 ti I got great FPS but then suddenly about an hour into my games it would BSOD. I swapped out PSUs (a 520W and 650W) and made sure to use the supplied two dual 4 pin connectors instead of using PCI-express power.

The GPU is not OC'd at all and the CPU is OC'd but stable after an hour of Prime95. I'm really quite fed up at this point, my previous systems I never had BSODs yet this new Sandy Bridge build I've had to return 3 GPUs and 1 PSU....

Don't know what to tell you except:

1) Back up your data
2) Run everything at stock
3) Run at least a few passes of the latest MemTest+
4) Do a fresh install if possible
5) Install only the bare minimum drivers/utilities
6) Monitor temps and voltages under idle
7) Try your games again
8) Monitor temps and voltages under load

hi,not sure if youve already done but maybe trying different drivers?,i always find memory gives me the most bsods, you could try testing them with memtest86,theres also hcimemtest i think its called which tests from within windows, sometime that will give me errors straight off and memtest86 will be error free for hours.

Have you checked to make sure your SB board isn't rapidly degrading due to the chipset defect inherent in every SB board? Errors from the drive could easily BSOD a system like that. if it's not that i'd do what others are saying and DL the latest version of memtest and run that overnight

I don't recommend using those molex-to-PCI-E 6-pin power adaptors.
yea the point of the 6 pin is typically to make sure you dont overload the PSU if it's a split rail design of some type, where they typically separate the 6 pin from the cpu power and molex power rails. it's there to be sure you get enough power to the GPU while also providing enough to the cpu and your peripheral devices as well :)
