I just installed the VIA 4.32 drivers and rebooted. When the system tried to come back up from the restart, it hit both of my CDROMs before ever trying the hard drive. It actually tried the CDROMs, then restarted the machine, tried to access the CDROMs again, then restarted the machine... It did this 5 times before the machine finally started into Win 2K load.

I tried to unistall the VIA drivers but just ended up reloading the 4.31 drivers (which never did this) but now they are acting up as well.

What could be the problem? I have the boot order to HDD-0, floppy, CDROM

I was getting this too, and I dont really know why :( I had a DVD Drive as master on one IDE channel, CD Burner on the other and then my HD on the RAID channel. It would constantly try and access BOTH CDROM drives for a boot disk and then would just lockup. Once I turned off the CDROMs as a boot drive it worked fine...I dont get it :(

I was using the 5/15 BIOS but it was causing a looping shutdown. I switched down to the 4/26 and now the looping shutdown is gone but the looping CDROM startup is there....

WHAT TO DO!?!?!? WHAT TO DO?!?!?!
