Strange behaviour of forum software.

So I am looking at the social section of the forum and see the Israel is at war is the thread with the most recent post.


But when I follow the link into P&N, it is not the top thread?



It's not stickied either. Weird. In fact I don't see that thread listed in the listing. I can only get to that thread is through the sections listing.

In contrast OT behaves correctly.

Nope. Ignore Users will still show up, just shows as ignored user.

Actually, if you have a member on ignore and that member makes a thread, you won't see that thread/title on the sub forum list.

It happens to me frequently enough as I have a few on ignore.

Well I don't have that particular op on ignore so that wasn't the cause.

also, on desktop it shows thread start date when I browse the sub?
but at least it is consistent comparing OT and P&N

LoL even though I added that thread to watched list, it doesn't show up when I go to the watched threads list. Short of bookmarking that thread in my browser, the only time I see it is when by chance it shows up in the subforum list when someone post a new message in it. It doesn't show when I go to the subforum at all.

Well I don't have that particular op on ignore so that wasn't the cause.

Turns out I had that problem. Are you sure you identified the right OP? You have to go to the first page of the thread, then click at the bottom to show ignored content, then scroll back up to see the OP.
