My system specs are below. When i first hit the power button, when the memory test line come up, it reads anywhere from 65meg to 16 meg (655xx, 16xxx)(at 2-2-2). Now this sucks because the computer wont boot(or boots so unacceptably slow it might as well not boot)

I have a soultion to this problem but it is a pain in the ass: I have to go into the BIOS, change to 3-2-2, then wait for Memory test, then go back into the BIOS and change to 2-2-2 again and then it counts 262144(or whatever 256meg is) and boots just fine.

This is Crucial ram, based on the Micron -7e chips, that means that its rated to 143Mhz at 2-2-2.

Someone please help me!!!!!!!

Here is a solution,

Why dont you run the memory at its spec?
I have a strong feeling it will solve all your problems.
