Strange behavior + Can't save in Castle Crashers after NXE update

Well, I'm having some issues with Castle Crashers. My save game fails to load. Everytime I leave the game, and start again, I start out with a lvl 1 guy. My brother's loads SOMETIMES, after logging in. But now, it won't load at all. This only starting happening after NXE was installed.


Anyone have any ideas? Or similar experiences?

I've pinpointed the issue somewhat. It appears that upon loading Castle Crashers, my game save doesn't actually load, and thus, all my characters are lvl 1. When I'm in Castle Crashers, I need to log out, then log back in, and the saved game properly shows. Is anyone else experiencing the same behavior? It's really irritating.

After some searching, it appears as that this is a known bug. The temporary "fix" is to log out after loading CC, then log back in.

had the same problem but it was unrelated to nxe. I had 2 xboxes and the one I did not buy cc on I would have to do the logout trick.

yes. this is epic gayness on the part of CC. I have to logout/login.

Try deleting the game (not your saves obviously) and redownloading it.
