Strange beep code on ASUS K7m

I have an old ASUS k7m motherboard that is giving me some problems. It has a continuious alternating beep once it posts. The computer boots okay all the way to windows but the beeps never go away. I have replaced the battery (which measured bad) and pulled alternating memory sticks with no difference in beeps.

It is an AMI bios and there is no beep code for a continuous alternating code, so I am stumped. Any suggestions other than getting a newer computer would be appreciated.

All i can suggest is that you ensure that all your RAM and anything like power cords etc are plugged in correctly, and ensure that you have either a 20 pin ATX or 24 pin ATX, and im not certain to be honest what could be causing that, just check those for now and set your BIOS to default settings

I had a friend with a similar issue and it seemed to be heat related since he kept his case in one of those desk cabinets. Try checking your ventilation and maybe adding a fan.

Another note: Shortly thereafter, I accquired said K7M machine from my friend and the PSU flamed out. Board and CPU survived, tossed in a new bargin bin PSU and 6 years later the thing still spins like a top.
