Strange Audio Problem

I just bought these speakers and they sound great, however I am having a slight problem with them and the Nvidia Mixer. For some reason it only recognizes them as 5.1 speakers and only sends white noise to them in the rear position. They play music and movies just fine when set up like this, however I have found that in games I only get the rear surround sound effects.

I just wanted to see if any of you had any ideas on this before I rolled back to another set of unified soundstorm drivers.

Okay, I'll try to theorize a solution and maybe you guys can tell me if you think it will work or not.

1) Uninstall all traces of current audio drivers (latest Nvidia unified)
2) Reinstall but rollback to a previous version known to work with 2.1 speakers
3) Pray.
