Strange Ati 9700 pro problem

Got a chance to pick up a ATi 9700 pro cheap, here is the problem

Guy says that when he leaves the box on for a week er so it losses the driver,if he reboots its fine...
here is a quote from him :
its a driver failure it will be like the driver was never installed but just a restart will fix it i donno if it just happens to this board or not.

What do u think???? if i got the card i could rma it if a needed to right?? maybe this is just a problem with his hystem since he doesnt have another box to try it on??? (from a dell system LOL)

Is his computer going into hibernation? If so just disable it. My computer also needs a reboot after going into hibernation, so I just turn it off.
