Got an amex blue cash in the mail the other day. I went to the website to activate it and the security code on the front didn't correspond to the account number. Amex ended up locking me out and when I called in told me that my card was messed up and that they had to ship me a new one
Anyone ever heard of anything like that? Is that kind of crap normal?
Second issue: Apparantly this card has a feature similar to Chase's Blink technology where you can have the card scan by proximity. I am expecting a blink card in the mail in a week or so and was wondering if two proximity credit cards would conflict with each other, or if the charges would arbitrarily go to one or the other if I just waived my wallet like I do at work for security. Has anyone ever dealt with this before?
