Stranded Deep - anybody played it?

It's exactly like the Forest in that it's a lot of fun to play in the beginning, but once you're able to leave one island and land on another, the game grinds to a hault. Arriving at the 2nd island is like starting the game over. There's no real content. It's a never ending island-hopping. You either move from island to island never looking back or you farm islands to bring materials back to an island of your choice to build some kind of base... neither situation has any sort of goal, though. There's no storyline, there's no end-game, there's just nothing to do once you've built a hut and figured out how to safely cross between islands. There IS nothing else to discover that's not something, at that point, that you'd done in the game a few minutes ago.

In short, it gets repetitive and boring very VERY quickly.

I watched a video on YouTube. It starts out almost exactly like The FOrest.

Anybody played it?

I agree with the post above. I own it. Yea, it's a great game and very interesting for the first two hours... and then you're like "eh, let's go see what else is on sale." So is it worth a buy? Maybe if it was on sale for five dollars.
