Straight or X wiring?

I am sharing my cable over a hub to a few computers. Do I need the CAT5 cables to be straight or X wired?

A crossover cable is used mainly when connecting two computers wihtout a hub. If you are using a hub, you do not need a crossover between the hub and the computer.

Depends on how you are doing it. If you are just sharing the modem using extra IPs from the ISP then you need to connect the modem to the uplink of the hub or use a crossover cable to a regular port.
