I called them just now and they wouldn't tell me if I should cxome in or not, they saifd it was all up to me. I described the cut exactly ans she said there are all different kinds of cuts and I asked he if ti wa s seriuis ifd the skin was missing and she sdaid she couldn;te tell me.

If you think you need stiches I'd go, otherwise just use some peroxide and wrap it. I wouldn't ask a receptionist for medical advice, I find they know CPR and stuff about common colds but that's about it.

I think I am comming down now (is that what they call it?) My fingers are startung to hurt agaun and I but I cna;t feel myt ring finger nail. I guys I will be loosing that one HuqWY?

It is a liability thing, that's why they cant give advice over the phone. They usually default to "you should come in" because if they say "don't worry about it" they will get sued when you end up with a headache.

I have no idea what happened to you, but sounds like some sort of cut and trauma to the finger(nail). If you have a cut you need a tetanus shot withing the last 7 years. If your nail is black, you have a hematoma below the nail and if the pressure stays you will lose that nail. Depending on the size and location of course.

That is all I am going to say so you can't sue me either. Everything I posted is general information. 😀
