I just saw a commercial for stouffer's express lasagna (while watching Hook) and they touted that it's made from real ingredients.

wtf does that mean? :\ is there lasagna out there that's made from fake ingredients?? I wonder what fake lasagna tastes like...

They probably were trying to imply that they didn't use overly processed stuff with long chemical names without actually saying that. If they can't outright lie to you they can at least lead you to false conclusions.

Maybe, probably. Sometimes it's actually the opposite though, a slight of hand just to make it sound that way when actually it is not.
