So I thought I would post this as a public service announcement. I was listening to the radio today and StoryCorps was on, I had never heard of it before. Basically these few RV homes go around the country and give interview questions to groups of two and then record their sessions. People are often father/son mother/daughter husband/wife etc and some of the questions are pretty intense such as 'what was the most painful experience of your life'

For instance, one man described how he was off base for the navy and told about trying to go watch a movie and the teller saw his black hand and revolted and told him he could not come here etc.

Anyway, check out the site, some really moving stories which of course are just 100% normal americans sharing their lives, sure beats the movies

yea, there have been some incredible stories to come out of that project. I think they are coming near me, but I really don't know what to say. I'm still thinking about running out there and seeing if I can get anything worthwhile out of myself.

This is some good stuff - personally, I'm listening to the 9-11 stuff, it's very sad. I deeply feel for these people, and I'm glad I didn't lose anyone.
