Story about that $1 counterfeiter?

I can't find it - does anyone remember that story about the guy who only counterfeited $1 bills, and did it sloppily, and such? Only used them once at each store, so stores only lost $1 ever from him, and they were usually really lousy copies. His punishment was $1 and some community service, I believe.

I don't know. From the story I read, it appeared that he lived in a small apartment, and he had a cheap press or something.
