Story about my Buddies GF

So she is a cheerleader and since she is in the 5ft, she is the one that always does the cool throw ups. Well, the other day she was at practise some of the guys were not paying attention and dropped her on a throw. She went home early and went to bed.

Woke up a few hours later with an unbelievable pain in her stomach. They take her to the hospitals where she gets xrays done.

The doctor walks into the room and looks at her. Then proceeds to tell her she should be dead or paralysed. No longer is the hurting stomach the problem, now it is the completely destroyed C2 in her neck.

WTF!! :Q

I've seen the results of C-2 spinal cord injuries. She's been given another lease on life. Really.

Exactly. Hopefully they can fix things such that further damage won't be done.

Also, the guy on the squad who wasn't paying attention should at the very least be thrown off the squad.

good lord.. she really cheated death... lucky girl, have her go buy some lotto tickets...

i've heard about many many cheerleading injuries.. just doesn't seem worth it to me..

So what you are saying is that she is invincible.........

I need to hire her for my conquest of Nigeria to end the spam terrorist threat.

"Ooh, you gonna break my kneecaps, huh? I've had my neck broken, b--ch! You want some of that instead? Do ya?"

Those guys should be kicked off the team if they were really not paying attention - but this is just hearsay.

I hope the doctors are careful in addressing the problem - while trying to "fix" it they could end up giving her the paralysis they're worried about...
