If you're shy, you do that when the situation comes up - you don't repeatedly create scenarios where people can make fun of you.

Well, he is obviously amplifying his anxieties to be humorous. Personally I get a kick out of it and find it a lot more interesting and funny than 99% of the other "humorous" activites that go on here. So if people are that uncomfortable about it, just ignore his threads.
