Storm doors

Need to get a new storm door, anyone know good comparison.. i only know anderson from hd and pella from lowes..

Anderson will be the 4000 series... not sure about the pella one yet...

any huge difference between the two ?

I believe Pella used to be Larson. I thought the quality went down. Features on each door will be more important than the brand name. Look for a thicker frame, welded frames etc.

Base models will perform poorly so get mid price or higher if you plan on using it for years to come.

One of the best features IMO is the half screen that coils when you drop the storm window. I love that.

We had an Andersen 2000 series full view put in last July. Paid $199 at HD. Solid door and the foot release holder thingo rocks.

went to hd tonight, there was like no one working at night.. giong to pella show room this weekend..

my door frame was slightly smaller at 34 3/4", so 461 for a custom anderson 4000..

pretty pricy ill update this weekend..
