Moisture? Heat?
Obviously cool and dry is best but w/o a/c, I can't control the summer heat so well. Can storing parts bring heartache if the conditions are right(wrong)?
Or will me big sticks of ram be fine until 4th quarter when finally the nForce platform is released?
:confused::cool::)

Well...I usually keep parts in a beer box I have with either just an open anti-static bag or nothing at all. They all still work after years of storage that way. Not that I'm saying this will work for you, don't do it and then come and bitch at me about loosing your stuff :)

How are the conditions inside your case? Ram seems to stay fine in there and it's hotter there I'm guessing. This is just me speaking out of my asshole so I dont know.

I have a 2 years old ram that still working and I put it under my kitchen sink :)
Anyway is it really worth it, electronic price usually goes down over time.
You might be able to purchase it at lower price than today not accounting
the loss in interest rate income if you purchase it today:) j/k

Just to be safe put it in static bag and sealed it.

thx

Could 256MB of PC2100 non-parity, non-ecc from Crucial be any cheaper than the $50 they are charging now? not likely by much, and possible more.

I'm with you on that one buddy. I'm buying 2 sticks for myself as soon as I get the cash.
